Hippocampe Hotel is ideally located in the heart of the village La Flotte en Ré ( among the most beautiful villages in France). It is near the port, the restaurants, the sea and the cycle paths.
In 2005, La Flotte obtained the blue flag for the quality of the sea (Arnérault beach).
Inhabited by fishermen since antiquity, the village has grown around the Mauleons’ Castle in the XI th. Today, La Flotte en Ré is a quiet village full of narrow streets. Its port and its old indoor market give it great charm.
